Yekaterina Putina dropped Putin's nickname and took her maternal grandmother nickname, Yekaterina Tikhonovna Shkrebneva, as her nickname.

By profession, she is a Russian acrobatic dancer but best known as the younger daughters of Russian president Vladimir Putin and Lyudmila Putina.

Yekaterina Putina was born on 31 August 1986 in Dresden, East Germany.
